Summer was Sweet
Summer on the Ave was FULL and so very fun!
This summer we gathered the troops (our partners) and had the privilege of participating in community development work alongside some of the amazing organizations in Beaver County.
Some of what the summer held:
- Our 3rd Annual Summer Concert Series in partnership with the Genesis Collective
- Boys and Girls workforce development in partnership with the TRAILS Dove Program
- Monthly Veteran’s Breakfast in partnership with our community volunteers
- Our 3rd year hosting the xTreme Tour
- The return of Open Mic Night
- Our inaugural Bridges Out of Poverty book study group
We’ve hugged necks, worshipped together, prayed together, fed people, chatted over coffee, practiced line dancing, laughed (and cried) together, celebrated and grieved, and prayed together. This summer has been fruitful, exciting, and come with its own challenges. As we move into the fall, we are excited to watch God continue to move as we seek Him in serving our community!

It’s story time at the Cafe! Coming soon: we will be open on Mondays for Coffee & Conversation with Uncle Bob and, Cafe Mum, Ms. Ada. Stop on by for some food, fellowship, and a great deal of laughter as we hear our community’s stories.
